Act for the 65th Anniversary of the Assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks.

Karaburun, Camp of the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP), July 28, 2018. In coordination with the Friendship Association José Martí and the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP), the 65th Anniversary of the Assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks was commemorated, through a political act, which was attended by more than 200 members of the party organization, aspirants and other friends of Cuba.

During the event, Mayvet González Fernández, Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of Cuba in Turkey, recalled the events that took place on July 26, 1953 in the Greater Antilles, explained its significance and historical value for the triumph of the Cuban revolution and its later development. At the same time, the diplomat ratified the commitment of the new generation and direction of the country with the historical continuity of the revolution and its socialist character, under the legacy of Fidel Castro Ruz, with the participation, support and consensus of the people.

Some of the participants, on behalf of the majority, expressed their solidarity and support for the Cuban revolution. They meant the importance and necessity of maintaining socialism in Cuba for the Island, America and the rest of the world. (Embacuba Turkey).
