On the occasion of the 24th International Meeting of Communist and Workers’ Parties, held on the eve of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, held a meeting with Kemal Okuyan, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Türkiye.
As part of the “Küba’ya Güneş Topluyoruz” (“Collecting Sun for Cuba”) campaign, the exhibition “Çizgiyle, Renkle Küba Halkına Güneş Topluyoruz” (“Collecting Sun for the Cuban People Through Lines and Colors”) has opened in Bozcaada.
The exhibition features more than 200 works by 80 artists from across Türkiye and will remain open to the public until August 8.
Izmir commemorated July 26, Cuba’s National Rebellion Day, with a moving act of solidarity that brought together friends of the Cuban Revolution.
The event featured remarks by Nahide Oskan, President of the Turkey-Cuba Friendship Association “José Martí,” and Raúl E. Madrigal, Consul General of Cuba in Istanbul.
The Küçükçekmece district of Istanbul hosted a moving act of solidarity to commemorate July 26, Cuba’s National Rebellion Day. The event brought together members of the Cuba solidarity movement, representatives of social organizations, and friends of the Cuban Revolution.
The event "Following the Footsteps of Moncada: The Present and Future of the Cuban Revolution" was held at Seyran Semt Evi, organized by the Cuba–Türkiye Friendship Association "José Martí." The gathering also commemorated the 95th anniversary of Army General Raúl Castro Ruz and the centenary of the birth of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
