In the context of the official visit to Cuba by Her Excellency Ms. Yaprak Balkan, Ambassador and Director General for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, a fruitful meeting was held with Cuba's Deputy Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Carlos Luis Jorge Méndez.

Cuba and Türkiye held the VII Round of Inter-Chancellery Political Consultations, as part of their shared commitment to continue strengthening bilateral ties between both nations.
With the aim of strengthening tourism and cultural ties between Cuba and Türkiye and promoting tourism and culture in the Pearl of the Caribbean, the “Cuba Única” Roadshow is being organized. This traveling initiative will visit five key cities in the Eurasian country: Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Izmir, and Istanbul.
The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Türkiye and the José Martí Association of Friendship with Cuba organized a bicycle parade that traveled through several avenues and streets of Ankara, the country's capital, to mark the 99th anniversary of the birth of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz and to launch the activities that will lead up to the celebration of the centenary of his birth in 2026.
