ACT IN ATHENS FOR THE 64TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE TRIUMPH OF THE CUBAN REVOLUTION

Organized by the Hellenic-Cuban Association of Friendship and Solidarity, an act was held in Athens to celebrate the 64th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, dedicated on this occasion to the trade union movement and Cuban workers.
The event, held in the hall of the Athens Commercial Employees Association, was attended by a large representation of members of the solidarity movement with Cuba and also union leaders and workers who once again ratified their solidarity with the people's struggle and the Cuban workers. Also present were the member of the BP of the KKE, Giorgos Marinos, the president of the Greek Committee for Peace, Stavros Tassos and other officials of the KKE and of workers' organizations in Greece.
The president of the Hellenic-Cuban Association of Friendship and Solidarity, Nikos Karandreas, the president of the Union of Municipal Workers of Attica, Spyros Konstantas, and the Cuban ambassador Aramís Fuente Hernández, spoke. All highlighted in their words the importance of the date and the friendship and solidarity that exists between the peoples and workers of Greece and Cuba.
