Activities continue in Türkiye to pay homage to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro on the 8th anniversary of his physical disappearance.

In the city of Izmir an event took place to commemorate one more anniversary of the physical disappearance of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro. 
The event was attended as speakers by the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Ankara, Dr. Alejandro F. Diaz Palacios, TKP Central Committee member Berkay Kemal Önoğlu, and the president of the Cuba-Türkiye Friendship Association, Nahide Özkan.
They highlighted the validity of Fidel's thought, his humanist and solidary character, his qualities as a statesman and his concern for the most hulmides, for whom he defeated the imperialist aggressions and developed education, health, culture, science and sports within the reach of the most excluded.
