Ankara, Nazım Hikmet Cultural Center, August 13, 2018 - Officials of the Cuban Embassy in Turkey with the management of the José Martí Friendship Association, members and other friends, participated in the 92nd anniversary of Comandante's birthday in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
During the event, Mayvet González Fernández, Charge d'Affaires of the Island in the Eurasian country, offered a few words on behalf of the Cuban Diplomatic Mission, in which she referred to the figure of Fidel as historical leader of the Cuban revolution, meaning the importance, transcendence and validity of his thought for Cuba, the international revolutionary movement and the commitment of the revolutionary government with its legacy.
As part of the celebration, the documentary Fidel es Fidel, by Roberto Chile, was screened and then a cake was cut in his name.
