ALBA Embassies to celebrate March 8th in Barbados.

The International Women's Day was held in Barbados by the two embassies of ALBA-TCP countries, Venezuela and Cuba,  in a Sunday day of sport and recreation fraternization in which officials and workers of both diplomatic missions, in conjunction with members of the Cuban Community Residents participated in Barbados, dedicated to sharing with the genre that represents "the forge of life" and eternal companion of man in all his battles, without whose smile and no work effort is complete, as José Martí stated. Between hits, outs and runs a fun game of baseball, the delights of "Creole" Cuban food and spontaneous demonstrations of the Latin-Caribbean dancing skills casino, salsa and merengue, it was possible to multiply happiness.
In baseball there were no losers, having won the Fellowship, and many were used to fund the effort to do a good job with the group that gathered at the stadium, although it was known that there were occasional serious difficulties to meet work the next day; special mention should Yahima, Second Base of mixed Cuban team, who stunned everyone with his creativity in the field.
The typical food from Federico´s Restaurant, with the laborious hand of his wife Doris, delighted the majority of those present, and gave strength to change the bat and gloves for each couple and throwing an amazing diversity of aisles in the stands the stadium, suddenly could resemble the famous dancing-track “La Tropical” in Havana.
Nothing, that the spirit of friendship, solidarity and collective respect and admiration for our women demonstrated the acting ability of children, youth and adults in an effort to honor the eternal source and wise and inspiring life. It all boils: the mother who raises and educates, who guides and shares, who works and creates. Congratulations and long live for women!!!
