Statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba.

Cuba rejects, in the strongest terms, the report published on July 20 by the United States Department of State, concerning Cuba's alleged subversive influence against that country. This is a mediocre propaganda pamphlet. It seeks to bolster the mendacious message that Cuba constitutes a threat to the United States, a pretext that the U.S. government uses for collective punishment and genocide against the Cuban people. Through the construction of accusatory narratives, it aims to fabricate support for a potential military aggression.

Declaration in solidarity with the Cuban people.

Organizations and friends of Cuba in Barbados signed a declaration expressing their unwavering solidarity with the Cuban people in the face of escalating threats and actions that undermine the country's sovereignty, security, and development. The document recalls that Latin America and the Caribbean were proclaimed a Zone of Peace and rejects any measure that could lead to a military escalation with unpredictable consequences for the peoples of the region.

The truth is that, this morning, the delegation of the United States of America would have deserved a red card.

The government of the United States is carrying out against Cuba a multi-dimensional, non-conventional warfare that has already lasted for almost seven decades now and has become ever crueler and more ruthless during the last seven months.

Foundation of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM)

The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Barbados extends its warmest congratulations to the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) on the occasion of the 53rd anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Chaguaramas, the founding instrument of this regional organization.

For more than five decades, CARICOM has stood as an example of unity, integration, mutual respect, and cooperation among the peoples of the Caribbean, fostering sustainable development, political coordination, and the promotion of the region's common interests.
