Ambassador Alina Aldama attended the reception hosted by the Embassy of India in Timor-Leste

Dili, February 1, 2026. The event, held at the Timor Hotel, commemorated the 77th anniversary of India's National Day and was attended by President and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Dr. José Ramos-Horta and Prime Minister Xanana Gusmão.

During the event, President Dr. José Ramos-Horta reviewed the state of bilateral relations between the two countries, while Ambassador Madan Kumar Ghildiyal focused his remarks on the recent agreements signed between the two nations. As part of the diplomatic corps, Head of Mission Alina Aldama and official José Heredia were also present.
