Ambassador Alina Aldama Receives Timorese Professor Dr. Antelo Benedicto Da Silva

Díli, February 4, 2026. At the Cuban Embassy in Timorese, Ambassador Alina Aldama held a cordial and productive meeting with Dr. Antelo Benedicto Da Silva, former president of the Association of Friendship with Cuba, who, due to his activism, was able to visit Havana. He also provided an overview of the work carried out alongside other Cuban diplomats and in solidarity with Cuba.

For her part, the Cuban diplomat provided an update on the latest escalation by the Trump administration and its consequences for the Cuban people. This occasion was also used to deliver copies of the statements issued by the President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla.
