The Ambassador of Cuba in Zimbabwe, Carmelina Ramirez, gave a press conference on September 9 on the Draft Resolution against the Blockade that is presented every year in the General Assembly of the United Nations. In this conference the Ambassador addressed the main media of Zimbabwe explaining the evils caused by this inhuman measure to the people of Cuba, and its extraterritorial nature that continues to affect companies and people all over the world, even in this southern country from Africa. She also said that despite this siege that we have resisted for more than 50 years, our country has managed to be a world reference in aspects such as health and education. The world has voted overwhelmingly in favor of justice for years and Cuba hopes that this year once again the United States and its main ally Israel will be in evidence before all.
