Oslo, January 5, 2022. The ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, held a friendly meeting with Svend Haakon Jakobsen, international secretary of the Communist Party of Norway (NKP).
The Ambassador thanked for the actions in support of Cuba that the NKP has traditionally carried out, especially those of last year 2021 aimed at demanding the end of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States and denouncing the ongoing campaign of subversion and destabilization against the Cuban Revolution.
The International Secretary ratified his Party's position of solidarity towards the Cuban revolutionary process, as well as his willingness to work together with a view to strengthening the fraternal relations existing between the NKP and the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC).
Haakon Jakobsen was accompanied by the member of the NKP and a great friend of Cuba in Norway, Mayo Bustos. (EmbaCuba Noruega)
