The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, proposed this Thursday, December 18, in the National Assembly of People's Power, designating 2026 as the Year of the Centenary of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
The proposal, approved unanimously, constitutes a tribute to the leader and a reaffirmation of the unity of his ideas in the Cuban Revolution.
