An update to the current consular fee schedule will come into effect on October 1, 2026.
Due to the current complex international macroeconomic landscape—characterized by sustained global inflation affecting all economic sectors—existing consular fees are being adjusted in a rational manner; such adjustments are common practice among countries regarding the various services they provide.
An update to these fees will take effect on October 1, enabling continued improvements in the quality, security, and efficiency of the consular services provided.
We will continue to work diligently to ensure efficient and professional consular operations across our country's network of Consulates General and consular offices.
The newly established fees, denominated in Norwegian Kroner (NOK), will be published shortly.
