Other topics covered were: the historical relations between Cuba and the former Soviet Union, and the current relations with the Russian Federation; the characteristics of the Cuban political system and the popular support for the Revolution; the falsehoods about the supposed "sonic attacks" to US diplomats in Cuba. With regard to the latter aspect, the Ambassador reiterated Cuba's commitment and attachment to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.
