Ambassador/Designate of the Republic of Cuba presents Copies of Credentials to the Ghanaian Foreign Minister.

Accra, 26/02/2025. - On Wednesday morning, Ambassador/Designate of the Republic of Cuba, Julio Enrique Pujol Torres presented the Copies of Credentials to H.E. Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana. Also present at the ceremony were the Second Secretary of the Embassy, Yamil Eduardo Martinez Marrero and for the hosts, the Director of the Americas, the Press Secretary and other members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Cuba pays tribute to its endearing friend Samuel Daniel Shafiishuna ‘Sam’ Nujoma.

Accra, 21/02/2025. - In the presence of former Ghanaian President His Excellency Hon. John Kufuor, the Speaker of Parliament His Excellency Hon. Alban Bagbin, the Minister of Foreign Affairs His Excellency Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, as well as representatives of the Diplomatic Corps accredited in this capital, among other personalities, a heartfelt ceremony of posthumous tribute to the Founding Father and First President of the Republic of Namibia, His Excellency Dr. Sam Nujoma, was held at the Ghana International Convention Centre.

Accra, 12/02/2025. - At the Cuban Embassy in Ghana, Ambassador/Designate Julio Enrique Pujol Torres received with surprise and joy the visit of a great friend of Cuba. In a fraternal meeting, H.E. Mr. Kofi Attor, Member of the Parliament of Ghana and Advisor to the Speaker of the Parliament greeted the diplomat, expressing his best wishes for success.

The representative of the Greater of the Antilles reciprocated the expressions of affection and expressed interest in strengthening the historic relations between the two nations.

Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Ghana serves as the venue for the Medical Brigade's Scientific Day

Accra, 08/02/2025. - The headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in Ghana served as venue for the first Scientific Forum of the Cuban Medical Brigade in the African sister nation.

With the display of 21 highly technical presentations, our doctors showed relevant results of their research in different specialties in the field of health. Dr. Mailen Luisa López, Head of the Medical Brigade inaugurated the event, which was attended by Dr. Hafez Adam, Director of Technical Coordination at the Ghanaian Ministry of Health.
