Cuban Ambassador signs the book of condolences at the Embassy of the Republic of Suriname

Accra, May 8, 2025. - The Cuban Ambassador to the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Mr. Julio Enrique Pujol Torres signed the Book of Condolences opened at the Embassy of Suriname in this capital on the occasion of the death of H.E. Mr. Jules Albert Wijdenbosch, former President of Suriname.

After the signing, Ambassador Julio held a meeting with his counterpart, H.E. Mrs. Fidelia Graand-Galon, Ambassador of the sister country in Ghana, in which they recalled the visit of Mr. Wijdendosch to Cuba, as well as the excellent relations between the two CARICOM member nations.

The Greater Antilles participates in the Workers' Day Official Ceremony in the Ghanaian capital.

Accra, May 1, 2025. - The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Mr. Julio E. Pujol Torres participated in the commemorative ceremony for May Day, International Workers' Day held at the Independence Square in this capital.

The ceremony was presided over by the President of the Republic H.E. Mr. John Dramani Mahama and was followed by a large parade of thousands of Ghanaian workers who gathered in the Square. 

Cuba Stands with Iran in this time of mourning.

Accra, April 30. - Cuban Ambassador H.E. Julio E. Pujol attended the signing of the Book of Condolences opened at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran on the occasion of the tragic explosion in the port of Shahid Rajaee that caused numerous victims.
