AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF CUBA GREETS ACTING CHIEF DIRECTOR AT MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS.

Accra. 23 October. – The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Ghana, Julio E. Pujol Torres, was received at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Her Excellency Ambassador Khadija Iddrisu, Acting Chief Director.

During the meeting, they recalled the historic relations of friendship and cooperation that have been maintained for 66 years, Ghana being the first African country to establish diplomatic relations with Cuba.

They also addressed other issues on the bilateral agenda, with the aim of further strengthening relations.

CUBAN STATE MISSION IN GHANA DISCUSSES DRAFT VERSION OF NEW CUBAN LABOR CODE

Accra. 16 October. As part of the Cuban nationwide consultative process currently being conducted across all labour collectives, the 32 staff members of the Cuban State Mission in the Republic of Ghana carried out today a thorough review and discussion of the Draft Labour Code.

This comprehensive exercise provided an opportunity for Cuban health and foreign service personnel to articulate their views, while also advancing proposals that may contribute to the further refinement of the final text.

CUBA EMBASSY JOINS ETHNIC PRIDE DAY AT AIS

Accra. 10 October. Coinciding with the celebration of Ethnic Pride Day at the local school, the Association International School (AIS), and as part of the commemorative activities marking Cuba’s National Culture Day, the staff of the Embassy of Cuba in the Republic of Ghana shared with Ghanaian fourth-grade students (PYP4) an engaging presentation featuring traditional attire, dances, music, and expressions of Cuban culture.
