Accra, 20 November. – The delegation of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), visiting Ghana to participate in the International Conference commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Fifth Pan-African Congress, held a fraternal meeting today with Johnson Asiedu Nketia, President of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
SOLIDARITY WITH CUBA HIGHLIGHTED AT INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE COMMEMORATING THE 80th ANNIVERSARY OF THE FIFTH PAN-AFRICAN CONGRESS
Accra, 18 November. – His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, today inaugurated the International Conference commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Fifth Pan-African Congress in Manchester, 1945.
CUBAN COMMUNIST PARTY (PCC) DELEGATION PAYS TRIBUTE TO OSAGYEFO DR. KWAME NKRUMAH
Accra, 17 November. – The delegation of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), headed by Yuneidys Imber Chaple, Deputy Head of the Department for Social Sector Affairs of the Central Committee of the PCC, paid tribute this morning to Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, eminent Pan-Africanist leader and founding father of Ghana’s independence.
During the visit to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, the Cuban representative was briefed on the life and enduring legacy of the distinguished African statesman and signed the Memorial’s Golden Book.
GHANA SENDS HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE TO CUBA, JAMAICA AND SUDAN
Accra, 7 November. – At a ceremony held today at Jubilee House, the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Mr. John Dramani Mahama, handed over a donation to the people of the Republic of Cuba consisting of a shipment of rice, Ghanaian chocolate, sugar, protein-based foodstuffs, mattresses, pillows, water tanks, medicines, clothing and field sanitation facilities, among other essential items.
