Cuban Ambassador-designate participates in book launch for Palestine
Accra, 04/02/2025. - H.E. Mr. Julio Enrique Pujol Torres participated in the Launching of the Book “The Israeli Genocide in Gaza”, by Dr. Gamal Nasser Adam, Vice President of the Islamic University of Ghana and member of the Ghana Socialist Movement.
The event, organized by the MSG, took place at the Freedom Center, Accra, and was attended by diplomats, members of the Movement and the general public. The opening remarks were made by the MP for Garu, Dr. Thomas Anaba, a medical doctor who graduated in Cuba.

Cuba rejects the decision announced by the President of the United States to use the Guantanamo Naval Base to imprison tens of thousands of migrants he has proposed to forcibly expel. It is a demonstration of the brutality with which that government is acting to supposedly correct problems created by the economic and social conditions of that country, the government's own management and its foreign policy, including hostility towards countries of origin.

Accra, 20/01/2025. – Dr. Hafez Adam Taher, Director of Technical Coordination at the Ministry of Health paid a courtessy call to Cuban Ambassador-Designate to the Republic of Ghana, H.E. Julio Enrique Pujol Torres.
The Cuban graduate decided to meet personally the the newly-appointed ambassador to Ghana, and extend his heartfelt welcome.
On his side the diplomat gave thanks for the kind gesture and expressed his intentions of deepening the longstanding relations between Cuba and Ghana.
