The members of the International Relations Commission of the National Assembly of People's Power of the Republic of Cuba express our strongest condemnation of the military aggression by the Government of the United States of America against the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
We urgently call upon parliamentarians around the world to demand an end to this criminal attack, which violates International Law, the Charter of the United Nations, and every norm of civilized conduct.
The region of Latin America and the Caribbean must continue to prevail as a Zone of Peace, proclaimed by all Heads of State and Government of the region at the Second Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States, held in Havana in 2014.
We express our full support and solidarity with the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and its legitimate government, led by President Nicolás Maduro Moros.
