Accra, 31 December. – The staff of the Cuban State Mission in Ghana concludes an intense year of work with the pride of marking 66 years alongside the Revolution and upholding the principles of revolutionary diplomacy.
Throughout 2025, sustained efforts were undertaken to strengthen diplomatic relations with Ghana through high-level visits and continuous exchanges with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ghana.
The meetings held made it possible to reinforce institutional cooperation between the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) and the Pan-African Congress (PCC), while highlighting the humanitarian work carried out by Cuban professionals in the African country. At the same time, the Mission served as a bridge for solidarity, particularly in the context of the severe crisis facing Cuba as a result of the policy of economic asphyxiation imposed by the United States of America against the island.
Likewise, regular and high-quality consular services were provided to Cuban and Ghanaian citizens. This comprehensive approach has continued to consolidate the historic ties between Cuba and Ghana.
In the year marking the centenary of the Commander-in-Chief, our commitment is renewed and multiplied to ensure that bilateral relations advance to higher levels.
Happy 2026!
