Kampala. Francis Peter Ojede, Executive Director of the Uganda National Cultural Center (UNCC) received for the second time the Ambassador of Cuba Tania Perez Xiqués.
On this occasion, the cultural project being prepared as part of the program of celebrations for the 50th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Uganda was followed up.
The Uganda National Cultural Center (UNCC) is a statutory body of Uganda established by the Uganda National Cultural Center Act, an Act of Parliament of 1959, as amended in 1965, whose mandate is to preserve, promote and popularize the cultural heritage of Uganda at a local and international level, contribute to the entertainment of the population and improve and safeguard the quality and level of the arts in that African nation.
