Copenhagen May 25, 2023. The Ambassador of Cuba in Denmark, Roger López García, holds a meeting on the prospects for doing business in Cuba.
The Cuban diplomat was received by the President of CERCA, Frank Kartz Johansen, and the Director of Business Investment, Morten Wagner, who chaired the meeting together with a group of cattle businessmen. Representatives of the Investment Fund for Developing Countries (IFU), the Pork Academy, as well as representatives of various farms and facilities linked to this sector participated in the meeting.
The Antillean representative explained the current situation in Cuba, and the possibilities that exist to develop foreign investment, in addition to the potential offered by the Mariel Special Development Zone. He also invited Danish businessmen and farmers to attend the FIHAV 2023 Havana International Fair in November. In the framework of the meeting, he referred to the effects of the economic blockade imposed by the US government
Denmark is internationally recognized for its great specialization in pig production and pork processing, with high levels of productivity and sustainability.
