Ambassador of Cuba holds a meeting with the Secretary General of the Federation of United Arab Emirates Chambers of Commerce and Industry

On November 8, 2020, HE. Roberto Blanco Domínguez, Ambassador of Cuba to the United Arab Emirates, held a pleasant and successful work meeting with HE. Humaid Ben Salem, Secretary General of the Federation of United Arab Emirates Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

During the meeting, both parties expressed their satisfaction of the good relations of friendship and brotherhood between the governments, peoples and the respective Chambers of Commerce of Cuba and the United Arab Emirates.

In the same way, they reiterated their willingness to strengthen ties in order to promote further development of economic and commercial relations. In that context, several sectors and products of interest were identified to boost bilateral trade. Moreover, both parties discussed ways to increase cooperation and exchange between the Cuban Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry, as well as between companies from both countries.

The Cuban Ambassador also referred to the launch of the Cuba 2020 Business Forum, which will take place on December 8th and 9th, 2020.

On the Cuban side, Mrs. Ailyn Martínez Sarduy, Third Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba, also participated in the meeting.
