Cuba, the GAE and the United States: an anatomy of state-sponsored slander
The US government has once again acted with premeditation in its eagerness to fabricate pretexts to discredit the Cuban Revolution, its historic leadership and its leaders, thereby seeking to mislead both our people and international public opinion.
All of this is part of a roadmap designed by ideologues of the Cuban-American far right, who boast of being creative and unpredictable. Their strategy centres on the use of tools that intensify the policy of maximum pressure in an extreme and unprecedented manner.
“Cuba Is Not a Threat to the United States”: Deputy Foreign Minister Rejects U.S. Coercion and Defends Sovereignty
In an interview with PBS News following the arrival of material aid from China, Cuba’s Deputy Foreign Minister Josefina Vidal Ferreiro firmly rejected U.S. pressure and reiterated the island’s commitment to defending its sovereignty.
Vidal condemned the intensification of U.S. coercive measures, including the oil-energy blockade and secondary sanctions on foreign entities. “The coercion, the pressure on Cuba has increased, has strengthened,” she stated, emphasizing that these actions directly harm the Cuban people’s living conditions.

Dear friends of the solidarity movement with Cuba in India;
My deepest gratitude to each and every one of you and to the vast international movement that you represent, for your persistent, tireless and victorious solidarity with the Cuban people.
It is an honor and a deeply moving experience for me to be here today, in this place, named after Surjeet, a man who embodied, like few others, solidarity among peoples.
