Officials of the Embassy of Cuba sign the Declaration by the Revolutionary Government of Cuba in support of Venezuela

The team of the Embassy of Cuba, led by Ambassador Norberto Carlos Escalona Carrillo, gathered today to sign the Declaration by the Revolutionary Government of Cuba in support of Venezuela against the menace of intervention by the United States.

The declaration denounces the recent escalation of hostile actions and the military build-up by the United States in the Caribbean Sea, intended to justify a possible armed aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Such actions, as detailed in the document, violate international law and amplify regional tension.

It is Imperative to Prevent a Military Aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela

The Revolutionary Government condemns the escalation of actions perpetrated by the government of the United States to justify a military aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

The accumulation and increase of military troops and material in the Caribbean Sea; the use of force to attack civilian crafts and murder their crews and the unjustified interdiction and detention of a vessel in violation of international regulations, confirm the hostile and irresponsible nature of the ongoing operation.
