SRI LANKA, February 27, 2017.- The Ambassador of Cuba, Juana Elena Ramos Rodriguez, met with the Honorable Dilip Wedaarachchi, Minister of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Development of Sri Lanka.
In the meeting, both sides highlighted the historical bonds of friendship existing between the two countries and reiterated their interest in strengthening ties of cooperation, trade and investment in the areas of fisheries and development and preservation of aquatic resources.
The meeting was also attended by several members of the working group of the Minister of State, carrying out an extensive exchange of information on existing business opportunities in Sri Lanka and Cuba in these sectors.
