he Revolutionary Government condemns the escalation of actions perpetrated by the government of the United States to justify a military aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

The accumulation and increase of military troops and material in the Caribbean Sea; the use of force to attack civilian crafts and murder their crews and the unjustified interdiction and detention of a vessel in violation of international regulations, confirm the hostile and irresponsible nature of the ongoing operation.

Cuban ambassador received the leadership of the Socialist Youth of Sri Lanka

Colombo, September 12, 2025.  The Cuban ambassador to Sri Lanka, Andrés Marcelo González Garrido, received Eranga Gunasekara, national organizer of the Socialist Youth and Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, and Anjana Sampath Amarasinghe, Secretary of International Relations of the Sri Lankan Socialist Youth organization, at the diplomatic headquarters in Colombo.

Colombo, Aug 19 (Prensa Latina) Sri Lankan mass media highlighted the denunciation made by Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez regarding the presence of US naval and air forces in the southern Caribbean.

 
The Colombo Times newspaper and the World Peace Company (CPM) Media Private Limited website reproduced the Cuban foreign minister’s recent social media post, in which he states that the US military deployment in the Caribbean is being carried out under false pretexts and responds to a corrupt agenda of Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
