Kingston, December 3, 2020
Dear comrades:
Being consistent with the legacy of Finlay, the greatest Cuban scientist of all time, we celebrate today, December 3, the Day of Latin American Medicine and Health Workers.
On behalf of all comrades who make up the collective of the Cuban Embassy in Jamaica and on my own behalf, I extend our most sincere congratulations to you.
In the face of the complex epidemiological scenario in the world, you have shown, with your dedication and hard work, that it is and will be possible to overcome the many challenges, obstacles, threats or turbulence you face every day, in the performance of your honourable and humanitarian work.
While congratulating you, we take this opportunity to urge you to continue raising the prestige of Cuban revolutionary medicine and, therefore, the image of Cuba. That is and will always be the best tribute that you can pay to our people.
Warm regards,
Inés Fors Fernández
Ambassador
