Nairobi, August 22, 2023- The Cuban ambassador to the Republic of Kenya, Juan Manuel Rodríguez Vázquez, paid a courtesy visit to the new Vice President of the Kenya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI), Mustafa Ramadhan.
The Kenyan side thanked the visit and pledged to advance the pending projects with Cuba in commercial matters.
The Cuban envoy conveyed congratulations to the Vice President on his appointment, as well as to the KNCCI President, Dr. Eric Ruto. Likewise, he thanked the confirmation of the participation of a Kenyan delegation in FIHAV 2023.
Both sides agreed on the commitment to expand and diversify up economic-commercial relations between Cuba and Kenya, through the exploration of new business opportunities, exchange of delegations between the respective Chambers of Commerce and the participation in events of mutual interest.
The KNCCI Chief Executive Officer, Patrick Nyangweso, and Edisleydi Curbelo Garcia, III Secretary of the Cuban Embassy, also attended the meeting.
