Oslo, January 13, 2022. The ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, received Arnljot Ask, member of the International Committee of the Red Party, at the headquarters of the Cuban diplomatic mission.
During the cordial meeting, the Ambassador referred to the campaign of subversion and destabilization that, promoted by the US government, seeks to overthrow the Cuban Revolution. She also explained the effects of the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed against Cuba for more than half a century, which has been intensified opportunistically during the pandemic, causing great damage to the country and its people.
Arnljot Ask stressed that the links between his Party and the Cuban Embassy in Oslo are long-standing and he agreed with the idea of working together for revitalize them in order to contribute to the defense of the Cuban Revolution in the current juncture.
It was a good opportunity for the Ambassador to convey the interest of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) to strengthen its relations with the Red Party, making clear her willingness to do everything to that effect. (EmbaCuba Noruega)
