Oslo, January 16, 2023. The Cuban ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway, Maité Rivero Torres, visited the TravelXpo 2023 Fair, which took place from January 14 to 16, at the Telenor Arena sports facility, in Fornebu.
The event, by Compass Fair, one of the most experienced fair organizers in the Nordic region, brought together around 150 exhibitors, including agencies, tour operators and other players of the tourism and travel industry, both national and international. It also included a wide program of presentations on travel and tourist destinations of interest to the Norwegian public.
It was an excellent opportunity for the Cuban diplomat to get in touch with representatives from local travel agencies such as Reise Bazaar and Vilja, interested in the Cuban tourist product, and also with directors of the specialized magazine Vagabond Reise Lyst.
TravelXpo was preceded, on January 12, by Travelmatch Norway 2023, the country's largest B2B event for outbound travel, which the Ambassador also had the opportunity to attend. (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
