Oslo, May 17, 2025. Along with her colleagues from the Diplomatic Corps, the Cuban Ambassador Maité Rivero Torres took part in various activities that took place today to celebrate Norway's National Day.
Early this morning, the Cuban diplomat went to the Royal Palace, where she wrote a message conveying sincere congratulations to His Majesty The King and the other members of the Royal House, as well as to the Norwegian Government and people.
Afterwards, she enjoyed the beautiful Oslo´s children's parade, in which 26,000 children from 109 schools passed by the Royal Palace, being greeted from the Balcony by Their Majesties King Harald V and Queen Sonja, Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Her Royal Highness Princes Ingrid Alexandra and His Highness Prince Sverre Magnus.
Later on, the Ambassador attended a reception offered by the Norwegian minister of Foreign Affairs, Espen Barth Eide, where she had the chance to interact with important personalities from the Government, the Parliament, and the Foreign Ministry. (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
