Copenhagen, September 3, 2023. The Ambassador of Cuba in the Kingdom of Denmark, Roger López García, participates in the Congress of the "Communist Party of Denmark" (DKP).
The Cuban diplomat, in the closing session of the event, conveyed a greeting from the PCC to the Danish communists, with the wish of a successful work in their goals.
In his words, he referred to the battle that our people are waging in the face of all adversities, and the commitment of the leadership of the Revolution to continue building our future along the paths of Socialism.
The Antillean representative highlighted the impact of the blockade, the application of the laws created to strangle the country, the 243 measures of the Trump Administration, and the inclusion of Cuba in the spurious list of countries sponsoring terrorism, and the persecution of our financial operations.
López García, thanked the solidarity support given by the Danish communists to our country, and reiterated the will to continue strengthening the ties of friendship with the partisan organization.
The meeting that concluded, after two days of meetings, addressed different aspects of the life of the organization, its challenges, and commitments, with a new effort to achieve the unity and integration of the DKP-Kpid, in a single party, to strengthen its road in defense of the rights of the working class, equality and social justice.
The Danish communists, in their Congress, reiterated their solidarity with the Cuban people, their support for our demand for the end of the economic war against Cuba, and the return of the illegal Guantanamo base.
The Congress was chaired by Henrik Stamer Hedin, from the DKP, and by his Rikke Galina Frydensbjerg Carlsson from the Kpid.
