Copenhagen, May 17, 2023. The Ambassador of Cuba, in the Kingdom of Denmark, Roger López García, attended the Reception offered by the Mayor of Copenhagen, Sophie Haestorp Andersen, to the accredited Diplomatic Corps.
In her welcoming remarks, the Mayor, Andersen, referred to the practices that contribute to sustainability in the city's urban planning, both socially and environmentally, and the rethinking of resources.
Speakers on the occasion included Foreign Minister Lars Looke Rasmussen, who offered an overview of what foreign policy priorities are currently focused on.
The occasion was propitious for a friendly dialogue between the Cuban diplomat and Danish politics, about general aspects of the development of the city of Havana, and the tourist attractions that Cuba offers to its visitors, especially to Nordic travelers. During the dialogue, Laura Rosenvinge, a member of the Governing Council, participated.
The ceremony also made possible an exchange with other local authorities of the city government.
