Ambassador of Cuba pays a courtesy visit to the Minister of Agriculture of Saint Kitts and Nevis.

Basseterre, February 24, 2022- This morning, David Rivero Pérez, Ambassador of Cuba, paid a courtesy visit to the Honorable Alexis Jeffers, Minister of Agriculture, Lands, Housing, Cooperatives and Fisheries, Natural Resources and Disaster Management of Saint Kitts and Nevis.

During the meeting, both parties expressed the intention to explore possibilities of joint collaboration, while the Minister showed his interest in Cuban technical assistance to national farmers.

Jeffers also serves as Deputy Premier in Nevis and in this sense; he referred to the good state of Cuban collaboration in Health and Education mainly.
