The Ambassador of Cuba Vilma Reyes Valdespino, was received in audience by the Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr. Ralph E. Gonsalves, at the Government headquarters.
The parties reviewed a large number of bilateral issues, including those related to the successful implementation of the Cuban medicine Heberprot-P in Sain Vincent and the Grenadines; the operation of the Modern Medical Complex of Georgetown and the work of the 23 Cuban doctors, nurses and health technicians employed there; the Vincentian participation in the forthcoming 36th edition of the Havana International Fair and in the III Investment Forum, which will take place within the framework of this event, among others.
The Head of the Vincentian Government reiterated his country's support for the Cuban and global battle, for the unconditional lifting of the blockade, imposed on Cuba by the US, which, for almost six decades, is the main obstacle to the full development of the potentialities of Cubans.
