Ambassador of Cuba receives Danish deputy.

Copenhagen, October 21, 2022. The Cuban Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark, Roger López García, received Deputy Christian Juhl, from the Red and Green Alliance (Unitary List), at the headquarters of the diplomatic mission in this capital.

During the meeting, the Antillean representative held a dialogue on various current issues, and in particular the situation in which Cuba is developing, along with other issues in the international arena.

The Cuban diplomat updated the former Vice President of the Danish Parliament on the effects of the cruel economic, commercial and financial blockade of the US Government, which will be considered again in the General Assembly of the United Nations under the title: "Need to end the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba."

In the friendly meeting, the Ambassador thanked him for the exchange held for three years, of the current legislature that is ending, as the country is immersed in a new period of parliamentary elections, and that should lead to the announcement, in November, of a new government in Denmark.

The Folketing is the unicameral national parliament of the Kingdom of Denmark, which meets at Christiansborg Palace on the islet of Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen. It consists of 179 representatives, 175 from Denmark, 2 from Greenland and another 2 from the Faroe Islands.
