The Cuban Ambassador, Roger López García, in the Kingdom of Denmark, receives the Director of the Royal Academy of Ballet of Holstebro, Kent Sommer Mortesen, at the Cuban Embassy.
In the dialogue they discussed the experiences of the Cuban Ballet in Denmark, and the visits conceived between the two countries, which speak of a tradition of common contact points. Furthermore, the prospects for growing the potential of an exchange in this sector in the future.
In turn, in the conversation, they discussed interests to stimulate the creative development of new generations, the application of knowledge at a technical and artistic level, as well as offering spaces and channels of professional development among our teachers and students.
The Cuban diplomat referred to the XXVI International Meeting of Academies for the teaching of Ballet, with the holding of the VII International Children's and Youth Congress, the III International Choreographic Contest, which will take place from April 4 to 18, 2020, sponsored by the School National Ballet "Fernando Alonso", in Havana, which aims to pay tribute to emblematic figures of the National Ballet of Cuba.
