Ambassador of Cuba receives executives from important Nigerian agencies.

Nigeria, February 17, 2022.-.- The Cuban ambassador to Nigeria, Clara M. Pulido Escandell, received at the headquarters of the Cuban Diplomatic Mission the general director of the Nigerian National Biotechnological Development Agency (NABDA), Prof. Abdullahi Mustapha and Professor Paul Chidozie Onyenekwe, General Director of the Sheda Science and Technology Complex (SHESTCO) accompanied by members of the board of directors of that institution.

The moment was propitious to address issues of common interest, such as Cuba's progress in combating the COVID19 pandemic and the status of the vaccination campaign and Cuba's call for the 2022 BioHabana Congress, which will take place from 25 and April 29, 2022 in Havana, Cuba, organized by the Cuban scientific institutions BioCubaFarma, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Technology and the Cuban Medical Industry Group.

The Cuban Ambassador thanked those present for the visit to the diplomatic headquarters and reiterated her interest in deepening working relations with these prestigious Nigerian institutions.

The Counselor of the Cuban embassy, ​​Pavel Bauzá Fusté, was present at the meeting, and Dr. Onuche Audu, who is a medical graduate in Cuba, was also invited.
