Ambassador of Cuba in Singapore participates in the opening of Awakening the Beauty: Jane Fong Lion City Art Exhibition

Singapore, March, 3rd, 2025. The Ambassador of Cuba in Singapore, HE Lisbet Luna and The High Commissioner of South Africa to Singapore, HE Madiepetsane Charlotte Lobe had an honour of opening the “Awakening the Beauty: Jane Fong Lion City Art Exhibition. 

 

This important exhibition showcase Ms Fong’s interesting art pieces that boldly combines Eastern and Western painting techniques. These work together with her classic work will be on exhibition at the Chinese Heritage Centre, Nangyang Technology University from 01 - 08 March 2025, the International Women’s Day.

 

Addressing the audience, the Cuban Ambassador referred to the importance of preserving culture as a bridge between nations. She explained the participation of Chinese emigrants in the formation of our national identity and their presence in our cultural and artistic work.
