Singapore, May 13th, 2026. Ambassador of Cuba to Singapore, Lisbet Quesada Luna, visited the Johor–Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) along over 30 Ambassadors and High Commissioners in Singapore, last May 12th, led by YBhg. Dato’ Indera Dr. Azfar Mohamad Mustafar, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Singapore.
The visit highlighted the progress, facilitation and investment opportunities within the J)ohor–Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ, underscoring the strong and growing partnership between Malaysia and Singapore in shaping a more connected, competitive and future-ready regional economy.
It showed opportunities for new businesses in the Region in sector as biotechnology, manufacturing, finances, cross-border connectivity, investment facilitation, talent mobility and business expansion opportunities — positioning Johor and Singapore as complementary economic partners within ASEAN.
