Yesterday afternoon, January 10, 2019, the Embassy of Venezuela in Egypt organized a rally of support for the swearing in of Nicolás Maduro as President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, which took place simultaneously in Caracas.
The event was attended by Abdel Hakim Nasser, son of former President Gamal Abdel Nasser, Tania Aguiar Fernández, Ambassador of Cuba in Egypt, members of the Egyptian parliament, members of Palestinian liberation movements based in Cairo and members of the Egyptian- Latin America Friendship Association.
In her speech, the Ambassador of Cuba highlighted and reiterated the unwavering and unconditional support of the Cuban Government and people to the Bolivarian Revolution, to the legitimate government of President Nicolas Maduro and to the heroic brotherly people of Venezuela. At the same time, she rejected the recent declarations and interventionist actions towards this sister nation and wished many successes to President Nicolás Maduro Moros in his administration.
