Cuba Condemns the Dominican Republic Government’s Subordination to the Aggressive Policy of the United States

Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba condemns in the strongest possible terms the decision by the government of the Dominican Republic to expel ten diplomatic officials from the Cuban Embassy in that country, along with their family members.

There is no justification whatsoever for this decision by the Dominican authorities. Cuban diplomats have always acted in strict accordance with the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and with absolute respect for the laws of that sister nation.

Cuban Ambassador to Egypt Grants Exclusive Interview to Qajira News

Cairo, July 29, 2026. The Cuban Ambassador to Egypt, Alexander Pellicer Moraga, granted an exclusive interview to Qajira News, in which he addressed issues of interest related to the situation in Cuba, its foreign policy, and relations with the United States.

The diplomat denounced the intensification of the blockade and the energy blockade, which are causing great suffering to the Cuban people. He also highlighted the Cuban people’s determination to resist and defend their independence and sovereignty to the very end.

The interview was published on July 22 on the Qajira News website in Arabic.
