Egyptian media echoes Revolutionary Government's statement against aggression toward Venezuela

Cairo, January 4, 2026. The Egyptian websites of the newspapers Al Safir, the Hispanic-Arab League, El Dameer, and Al Ameltanmya echoed the Revolutionary Government's Declaration, which strongly condemns the recent aggression by the United States against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the illegal kidnapping of that country's Constitutional President, Nicolás Maduro Moros.

In the Declaration, the Revolutionary Government reaffirmed its absolute support and solidarity with the sister Bolivarian Republic and its government, while supporting the speech by Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez and her demand that the US government provide proof of life for constitutional President Nicolás Maduro Moros and Cilia Flores.

Cuba’s Strong Condemnation of the Cowardly U.S. Aggression Against Venezuela and Its Absolute Support for That Sister Nation

The Revolutionary Government strongly condemns, in the strongest possible terms, the military aggression carried out by the United States against Venezuela, while categorically reaffirming Cuba’s absolute support and solidarity with the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and its government. Cuba supports the address delivered by the Executive Vice President, Comrade Delcy Rodríguez, and endorses her demand that the Government of the United States provide proof of life of the constitutional President, Nicolás Maduro Moros, and Comrade Cilia Flores, as well as its support for the determination of the Bolivarian and Chavista government and its people to reject the aggression and defend their independence and sovereignty.

President of Egypt congratulates his Cuban counterpart on the 67th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution

Cairo, December 30, 2025. The President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdelfattah Al Sisi, sent a message of congratulations to his Cuban counterpart, Miguel Díaz-Canel, on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.

At the Cuban Embassy in Cairo, Ambassador Alexander Pellicer received the Chamberlain of the Presidency, General Mohamed Negm, who conveyed the congratulations to the Cuban government and people. He also conveyed his wishes for well-being and prosperity for the Cuban people in the new year.

Egypt-Cuba Friendship Association sends message of congratulations on the triumph of the Revolution

Cairo, December 28, 2025. The Egyptian-Cuban Friendship Association (CEFA) today congratulated the people and government of the island on the 67th anniversary of the triumph of their Revolution and denounced the blockade imposed by the United States.

In a letter sent to the Cuban ambassador in Cairo, CEFA President Kamal Gaballa welcomed the declaration of 2026 as the centenary year of Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro, an event he considered “an incentive to strengthen national unity and continue defending independence and sovereignty.”

The economic warfare against Cuba is being strengthened

On December 10, 2025, US military forces rapelled onto an oil tanker while it sailed in international waters in the Caribbean Sea, off the Venezuelan coasts.

This act of piracy and maritime terrorism is a serious violation of International Law, including the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea and the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against the Safety of Maritime Navigation. The US government is responsible for the commission of these crimes, which are harmful to the international community as a whole.
