Cuban ambassador meets with new Deputy Minister for the Americas at Egyptian Foreign Ministry

Cairo, October 6, 2025. Cuba's ambassador to Egypt, Alexander Pellicer Moraga, met this morning at the Egyptian Foreign Ministry with the new deputy minister in charge of the Americas, Ambassador Khaled Azmi.

The cordial meeting highlighted the historic relations of friendship and cooperation between Egypt and Cuba and the positive state in which they currently find themselves. Both diplomats agreed on the need to develop and strengthen economic, commercial, and cooperative relations in areas of common interest, particularly in the field of health and the biopharmaceutical industry, where there is great potential.

Cuban State Mission in Egypt supports Cuban Revolutionary Government's Declaration calling to stop a military aggression against Venezuela

Cairo, October 1, 2025. The Cuban State Mission in Egypt supported the Cuban Revolutionary Government's Declaration “It is urgent to prevent military aggression against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,” in light of the escalation of actions by the United States government to justify it.

Diplomats and correspondents from the Prensa Latina news agency signed the Cuban government's statement at the Cuban Embassy in Cairo in support of the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

Sharm El Sheikh, September 28, 2025. The first meeting for Cubans living in the Egyptian city of Sharm El Sheikh took place, with representatives from the Cuban community in attendance.

At the meeting, held by Ambassador Alexander Pellicer and First Secretary Odalys Capote, various topics of interest from a consular point of view were discussed, particularly the services offered by the Embassy to its nationals and the immigration rules and regulations established by the Egyptian authorities.

Cairo, September 27, 2025. The Egyptian channel NILE TV International broadcast live the speech by the Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez, at the High-Level Segment of the 80th United Nations General Assembly.

In his speech, the Cuban diplomat denounced the intensification of the genocidal blockade against the island. “This is a true, comprehensive, and prolonged economic war, aimed at depriving Cubans of their livelihoods and sustainability, of their existence as a united, cultured, and joyful people,” Rodriguez Parrilla stated.

Cuban Ambassador to Egypt visits SEDICO pharmaceutical company facilities

Cairo, September 22, 2025. The Cuban Ambassador to Egypt, Alexander Pellicer Moraga, visited the SEDICO company's drug production facilities.

SEDICO executives gave the Cuban diplomat a detailed explanation of the variety of medicines produced by the company and showed him the production processes for various products and the modern equipment installed.
