Kampala. On July 22, the Ambassador of Cuba Tania Perez Xiques participated in a meeting of the Uganda Women's Network (UWONET, for its acronym in English).

The Cuban diplomat shared about the successes and challenges of the Cuban Revolution at the time of the celebration of the National Rebellion Day in Cuba.

The aforementioned organization brings together the leaders of the main women's organizations in the African country, with a view to contributing to generating commitment and promoting the participation of women's strategic policies in national development.
