Copenhagen, November 2, 2023. The Ambassador of Cuba in Denmark, Roger López García, visit the “Sapere Aude” Gallery, which exhibits the works of several Cuban artists.
The painting samples, with a marked visual expressionism, and a narrative language about human existence, allow the viewer to identify with a modern and authentic art.
The Cuban diplomat explained that the presentation coincided with the celebrations of the Culture Day which, in Cuba, was dedicated to the 220th anniversary of the birth of the Cuban poet José María Heredia, and to the 155th anniversary of the intonation, for the first time, of our “Hymn of Bayamo”, on October 20, 1868, a day declared since 1980 as National Culture Day.
The exhibition inaugurated on October 10, will be at the “Sapere Aude” Gallery, until the end of November.
The Gallery established in 2018, by Peter Haisler, focuses on high quality Danish and international contemporary art.
