Oslo, August 23, 2022. The Cuban ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway, Maité Rivero Torres, visited the Oslo Chamber of Commerce, where she held a meeting with Astri S. Platou, its External Affairs Director.
The Norwegian executive offered a detailed explanation about the structure and mission of the Oslo Chamber of Commerce, as well as the services it offers to its members, which was of great interest.
It was an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas on how the Embassy could reach out to Norwegian companies operating in sectors of interest to Cuba, and also to explore ways in which the Oslo Chamber of Commerce could eventually support actions aimed at promoting relations between the two countries in the economic-commercial field.
The XXXVIII Havana International Fair, FIHAV, to be held from November 14 to 18, 2022, was among the topics addressed. (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
