The Cuban Ambassador to Kenya, Inés Fors Fernández, held a fraternal exchange with Kenyan graduates trained in Cuban academic institutions. During the exchange, the graduates shared anecdotes from their experiences as students and reaffirmed their gratitude to the Cuban authorities and people for the support provided during their stay in this country.
The Ambassador, for her part, expressed her gratitude for the visit and highlighted the historic ties of cooperation between the Cuban and Kenyan peoples. "We are proud to see you trained as professionals serving the sister Republic of Kenya," she stated.
Cuba and Kenya have established a strong collaboration in the educational field, which has led to the training of tens of young Kenyans at universities in the Caribbean nation, especially in medicine and sports, among other areas of knowledge.
To date, more than 70 Kenyan students have studied in Cuba.
