Ambassador to Norway attends activity for the 75th anniversary of the Kon-Tiki expedition.

Oslo, November 23, 2022. For the Ambassador of Cuba to the Kingdom of Norway, Maité Rivero Torres, it was a pleasure to participate in one of the commemorative activities for the 75th anniversary of the Kon-Tiki expedition.

The launch of a book and the premiere of a film gave her the opportunity to learn more about Thor Heyerdahl´s life and also to share with some members of his family: his son Thor, his daughter Helene Elisabeth, as well his granddaughter Liv, who keep pleasant memories of their visits to Cuba and their meetings with the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
