Oslo, November 21, 2024. Ambassador Maité Rivero Torres received Olga Valentina Osses, who will travel in the next few hours to Paris, France, to participate in the 19th European Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba on behalf of the Norway-Cuba Friendship Association (Cubaforeningen i Norge).
Olga Valentina expressed the deep satisfaction she feels for the opportunity to take part in such an important event for all the forces of the solidarity movement with Cuba in Europe. She is aware that it will take place at a time when Cuba needs the greatest possible support, due to the negative effects of the US blockade and its presence on the List of States Sponsors of Terrorism, as well as the considerable damage caused in the last month by various natural phenomena.
The Ambassador thanked Olga for her willingness and commitment, and urged her to proudly represent Cubaforeningen i Norge, an organization that this year celebrated its 60th anniversary and has a long and consistent history in defense of the Cuban Revolution. (Embassy of Cuba in Norway)
